Scott

Former Searchers drummer, Scott Ottaway will be running a drumming for mental health workshop at the Mind Body Spirit Wellbeing event, which is set for Saturday 25th April at the Wades Centre, Princes Risborough. Doors open 11-5pm

Aylesbury-based Ottaway and wife Sam, run “Buckets for Bongos”- where they run workshops that turn everyday rhythm-making into a simple, hands-on outlet for stress. Their event workshop encourages focus, release, and play, helping reduce anxiety and support mental wellbeing through sound.

Visitors to the show can look forward to a full day of holistic wellbeing. The event arrives at a time of year often linked with reflection, renewal and fresh starts, with organisers, DeerSpirit, encouraging visitors to use the season to reset and refocus. The show brings together exhibitors, therapists, readers and wellbeing retailers for a busy day of workshops, treatments and spiritual exploration.

Visitors can take part in a programme of interactive sessions running throughout the day. These include affirmations and positive mindset workshops, spring-time reflection and renewal sessions. Other workshops cover protection from mobile phone radiation, alongside sessions exploring connection with spiritual guidance, combining practical wellbeing themes with spiritual development.

A wide range of stalls fills the venue, offering crystals, witchy and pagan gifts, spiritual items, and electromagnetic protection jewellery. Deer Spirit’s Julie Fenn will be promoting her range of wellbeing books, covering Reiki, visualisation, journaling, psychic protection and mindful colouring. The Wildlife Trusts also attend, bringing a nature and environment focus to the event.
Therapists offer a full programme of treatments including Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Crystal Therapy, Emotion Code Therapy and Massage Therapy. Readers provide Tarot, Aura, Psychic, Mediumship, Astrology, Oracle and Shamanic sessions throughout the day.

Come along for a welcoming space to slow down, reconnect, and explore. It’s a chance to try new experiences, meet open-minded people, and leave feeling clearer and more uplifted.
